It is not expected for everyone to have a colourful home. In fact, a monochromatic interior can look as classy as modern design.
Here are a few tips and tricks to obtain the monochromatic look.
Black and White
Black and white are the most classic colour, as simple as that your walls can either be white or black. If you are willing to take the risk, black is the way to colour your walls. Classic White would be used when you are scared that black walls would look ominous.
Matte and Glossy
Matte finishing intensifies the room as it diffuses the light that falls on them.
Semi-matte finishing reflects elegant sheen with low depth. They are recommended to be painted in the room that requires frequent cleaning.
Glossy finishings have a high intensity of reflection, they are easy to clean and maintain.
Patterns
There are many black and white patterns out there. If you are feeling adventurous, putting up motifs are recommended.
Flooring
The flooring is easy to decide. Flooring has to be the exact opposite of the wall. For example, if the wall is black, the floor should be white or vice versa.
