In the Drive Section of our LUSH’s 2nd Anniversary Special Edition, we’d like to present the Lincoln cars. Luxury Lincolns are manufactured under the Lincoln brand as a luxury car subsidiary of Ford Car Company. Lincoln has been established with the reference to Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the U.S who was adored by all the citizens. Lincoln’s history is magnificently miraculous. It is the only car company, which produced Presidential Cars in comparison to General Motor cars throughout American History. As it was derived from President Lincoln’s name, Lincoln’s influencing matter is enormous according to both the president’s name and its quality.

Lincoln is one of the companies in the world, which produce Special Vehicles for great leaders. Especially, superior edition Lincolns are purchased for the government top-liners including the president of the U.S. Lincoln K-Series Sunshine Special was created for President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939. Since then, the Government continuously chose Lincolns as Presidential Cars. The presidential care that time was Lincoln K-Series Sunshine Special, Lincoln Custom, Lincoln Cosmopolitan, Lincoln Continental and SS-100-X. Afterward in 1989, Lincoln Town Car was chosen as the presidential car for the last time. After 1989, Americans quitted using Lincolns as presidential cars. Limousines are large luxurious cars, which can only be seen in movies earlier, especially, in the scenes, those presidents and business elites are transported. There are Limos in our country too. The first Limo in Yangon was Lincoln Town Car Limo and later the others have arrived. There are no other certain names for Limos in the production and they go under the name of Lincoln. For instance, Lincoln Navigator as Lincoln Navigator Limousine and Lincoln Town Car as Lincoln Town Car Limousine, etc.

Lately, Lincolns have to aware of the market competition. The market demand for Lincoln has declined. Later, Lincoln’s sales are more excessive in China than in Europe. This is the reason why they built a factory in China. Lincoln prepares the best for the latest models. They are introduced with the latest technologies and excellent luxuries. However, Lincoln is not a company that earns much money from producing many models. It only produces Lincoln MKZ and Continental in Sedan, and MKC, MKT, MKX, MKZ, Nautilus, and Navigator in SUV Types.
