Leonardo Da Vinci being one of the most famous renaissance intellect, created many pieces that became famous. Da Vinci was incredible in whatever he did, be it his paintings, sculpting, mathematics, engineering and many more subjects.
However, it was his quick vision that could capture Mona Lisa’s fleeting smile. The quick eye that he had is equivalent to baseball players having the ability to see the ball in the pitch. This gave him his ability to portray Mona Lisa’s half smile in his painting and how he was able to identify and paint the changes in shape of falling drops of water. This fleeing expressions are also captured in The Last Supper. It displays the expressions of the apostles after Jesus Christ had told them that “one of you here will betray me”.
