Felting is not as common as embroidery or knitting. People rarely make felt products, but when it’s made it is a masterpiece. Felt is a type of material. We use special needles to make 3D sculptures, jewelry, adornments, and even 2D art. There are artists that use felting method to make 3d portraits of your pets, you or even imaginary creatures.
Russian Artist, Elizabeth Delektorskaya uses felt to make an amazing sculpture of cats. They resemble cats that are from a fairytale.
Japanese Artist, Wakuneco creates portraits of cats that resemble an actual cat. They look as if they would come to life at any moment.
