အႏုပညာေဖ်ာ္ေျဖသူတိုင္းသိၾကပါတယ္။ Music နဲ႔ Fashion ဆိုတာ တစ္ခုနဲ႔ တစ္ခု ခ်ိတ္ဆတ္ေနတာဆိုတာ။ Lush ရဲ႕ Art and Music အပိုင္းမွာ fashion နဲ႔ music ပူးေပါင္းၿပီး အေကာင္းဆံုး အသံုးျပဳႏိုင္တဲ့ အဆိုေတာ္ေတြအေၾကာင္းကို ေဖာ္ျပေလ့ရိွပါတယ္။ ဒီတစ္လမွာေတာ့ cinematic ျဖစ္တဲ့ သီခ်င္း၊ music video ေတြနဲ႔ အတူ တမူထူးတဲ့ vintage fashion ပိုင္႐ွင္ Lana Del Rey ကို ေလ့လာပါမယ္။

Lush’s Music and Art section explores how music and fashion influences each other and create the best combination in the artist. For this month, the spotlight is on the songstress whose cinematic music, music video and distinctive vintage fashion style; Lana Del Rey.
Born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, Lana started out her career as Lizzy Grant singing in nightclubs. She had a lot of stage names until she settled with “Lana Del Rey” because she “wanted a name that sounded sort of exotic and reminded me of like the seaside on the Floridian coast.”
A lot of people may not remembered it but when she first came to get mainstream attention with her lo-fi “Video Game” video, she received internet backlash from people questioning her background and her looks. However, many were also charmed by her songs and her old Hollywood glamour look. With her bee-stung lips, long stiletto nails and her flower crown, Lana appears to be from a different era and also a world of her own.Despite a rough start with failed performance on Saturday Night Live, Lana’s debut album “Born to die” reached No. 1 in 11 countries.
Her aesthetic ranges from old Hollywood with long gowns and Veronica Lake’s hair to 60/70s flower child look. In her every day look, Lana surprising stick to simple jeans and checkered-shirt and sneakers. Yet on stage or off, Lana looks is completely an all American girl. In her songs and in her videos, you cannot mistake the characteristic related to the culture of United States of America. Her use of mustang ( an American car manufactured by Ford)in songs and videos, channeling J.F.K and Jackie O for her “National Anthem”, the heavily bearded bikers and American flags bandanas are all drawn from culturally iconic “Americana”.
In her latest album “Lust for Life”, Lana has been channeling sixties with shirt dresses and flower child of Woodstock and singing about the message of “Love” in a currently troubled America. We cannot wait to see what American classics she will come up with again for her next album. One thing for sure, it will be truly American look.
